Lead the Nursing Team at Legend Senior Living

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Health Care Director to join our team at Legend Senior Living. As a key member of our nursing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of the nursing department, including recruiting, training, and scheduling staff
  • Verify the proper distribution and documentation of medication, treatments, and orders
  • Participate in regular resident assessments and service planning, and follow up with ancillary health care services as needed
  • Assist with the move-in and move-out process, including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
  • Provide direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or to fill an open shift
  • Fulfill other duties as needed, such as assuming the Health Care Director's responsibilities in their absence, and relaying concerns to the Director
Requirements:
  • Current nursing license (RN or LPN) and CPR certification as required by the state
  • At least 1 year of prior relevant experience
  • Prefers previous supervisory experience, preferably in senior living
