Role OverviewAs a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and administrative support under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with personal care to promote optimal recovery.
- Performing essential nursing tasks as delegated by an RN to enhance patient health and wellness.
- Ensuring a safe environment and the secure delivery of care.
- Carrying out administrative duties as required.
- Maintaining necessary skills and competencies to provide high-quality care.
The compensation for this position is competitive, with an hourly rate starting at $20.34. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates who commit to a year of service.
Minimum QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS Certification.
- Certification to practice as a Nurse Aide in the Commonwealth of Virginia or meet specified criteria.
This position requires frequent bending, stooping, and the ability to lift/push/pull weights exceeding 100 lbs. Candidates should possess proficient communication skills and attention to detail.
