Empowering Customer Experience Excellence

TJ Maxx is seeking a skilled Retail Customer Experience Supervisor to promote exceptional customer service and lead a team of Associates at the front of store. This role involves overseeing the delivery of prompt, courteous customer service and promoting loyalty programs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality
  • Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles and customer service excellence
  • Assign registers, support POS coverage, and coordinate breaks for Associates
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience
  • Ensure Associates execute tasks according to store plan; prioritize as needed
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates; provide progress updates
  • Partner with management on Associate training needs; provide recognition and feedback
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs; support shrink reduction goals and safety awareness

Requirements:

  • Available to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
  • Strong understanding of merchandising techniques
  • Capable of multi-tasking
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player with effective communication skills
  • Able to train others; 1 year retail experience and 6 months leadership experience

Starting Pay: $13.00 to $13.50 per hour; actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
