Growth Marketing Leader

A seasoned Growth Marketer to spearhead the development and execution of our direct-to-consumer (D2C) marketing efforts for Current Backyard. This role is pivotal in driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing, data analytics, and consumer behavior, with a proven track record of scaling D2C brands.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Growth Strategies: 25%
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Identify and optimize key growth levers across various channels, including digital, social media, content marketing, SEO, and paid advertising.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: 20%
- Analyze and interpret data from various sources to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of growth initiatives and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Customer Acquisition and Retention: 25%
- Design and implement customer acquisition strategies that align with company objectives.
- Develop and execute retention programs to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: 10%
- Work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align growth marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with the creative and content teams to develop compelling marketing materials that resonate with target audiences.
- Team Leadership and Development: 10%
- Provide guidance and support to collaborators and team members to achieve individual and team goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the marketing team.
- Budget Management: 10%
- Manage the growth marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or a related role with a proven track record of scaling and driving growth for D2C brands; at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth marketing strategies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. Expertise in digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
