Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Tech Associate to join our team at Chandler Regional Medical Center. As an EEG Tech Associate, you will play a critical role in assisting with the preparation and performance of electroencephalograms (EEGs) to help diagnose and monitor neurological conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, set up and calibrate EEG equipment, and monitor EEG recordings.
  • Ensure accurate and quality results, maintaining patient records and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care, explaining procedures to patients and families as needed.
  • Notify neurologists of any abnormal results that may require immediate attention.
  • Document complete care of patients, performing thorough patient assessments and charting necessary information.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • American Heart Association BLS card
  • ABRET certification within 2 years of completion of EEG program
  • Minimum of 6 months experience performing EEGs (preferred)
