Responsibilities
The Neurodiagnostic Technician plays a crucial role in conducting electroencephalograms (EEGs) to evaluate and document the electrical activity of patients' brains, which is essential for diagnosing and managing neurological conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for EEG procedures.
  • Attaching electrodes to the scalp with precision.
  • Operating and maintaining EEG machinery.
  • Ensuring accurate data collection and interpretation.

This position requires a high level of technical skill, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to generate clear and concise reports for neurologists and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- High School Diploma/GED or Official Transcripts
- EEG Program Certificate or AA/AS equivalent competencies
- American Heart Association-issued BLS card
- American Heart Association-issued ACLS card
- ABRET (R.EEG.T) certification
- Two years of experience performing Adult and Pediatric EEGs
- Proficiency in EKGs and Stress Tests
Preferred:
- One year of experience in adult and ambulatory EEGs
- One year of experience in Evoked Potential and LTM
- Two years of stress test experience
