Musical Instrument Repair Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to restore musical instruments efficiently and effectively, ensuring they are returned to optimal playing condition. The technician may focus on a specific category of instruments or handle a variety of types.

- Repairing instruments returned from rentals promptly and effectively.
- Adhering to established quality standards for each repair.
- Keeping precise records for production tracking.
- Performing additional tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or a diploma from an accredited repair institution is required.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is essential.
- Familiarity with standard repair tools and equipment is necessary.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in musical instrument repair is expected.
- Comprehensive knowledge of brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments, with the capability to repair them efficiently.
- 4 years of relevant experience in the field of musical instrument repair.
- Advanced expertise in brass, woodwind, percussion, and orchestral instruments.
- Goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to deliver high-quality repairs promptly.
- Willingness to accept guidance from the shop manager.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills for diagnosing and fixing instruments.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Capability to collaborate effectively in a close-knit environment.
