About the Team

VIZIO Ad Tech is seeking a proactive and innovative Program Management Specialist to ensure the timely delivery of valuable features within defined parameters.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with four high-performing software engineering teams to develop state-of-the-art products in the advertising technology sector.


Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Communication:

Establish and nurture relationships with our product team, software engineering teams, and EPMO group to promote clear and effective dialogue.


Coordinate Efforts:
Assist engineering teams in providing consistent story points, timelines, and delivery schedules for stakeholder visibility.

Direct Activities:

Serve as a primary contact for incoming and outgoing communications regarding status updates, change requests, obstacles, deployments, and team assignments.


Strategize Planning:

Support quarterly roadmap planning by evaluating ongoing projects alongside new feature requests, and synchronize delivery timelines between product and engineering teams.


Anticipate Challenges:
Recognize risks, obstacles, and other potential issues, communicating them effectively to facilitate swift resolutions.

Ensure Follow-Through:
Assist in validating, deploying, and monitoring project outcomes.

Data Analysis:
Conduct data analysis to provide insights for Engineering Managers regarding team velocity and other performance metrics.

Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
1-3 years of experience in project management within software development.
Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives across technical domains.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong technical foundation.
Self-motivated, diligent, and organized.
Familiarity with software engineering methodologies, dependencies, and common software development life cycles (SDLCs).
Experience with Atlassian or project management software.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or interest in advertising technology.

Familiarity with agile project management frameworks and a willingness to lead related ceremonies, adapting methods to meet our needs.

Willingness to engage in various tasks, contributing beyond regular job responsibilities: our teams are lean yet impactful, and everyone plays a role when needed.

Assist the team in defining, adhering to, and managing processes that promote transparency, accountability, and productivity as we develop new features.

Effectively communicate deliverables, timelines, and obstacles to ensure projects meet their deadlines.

For Colorado-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $76,000.00/year.

In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
