Position Overview
This role is situated within the Taxpayer Services Division, which plays a crucial role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various program segments and ensuring their effective execution.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, your primary duties will include:
  • Exercising managerial authority to guide the comprehensive planning and execution of programs, including the establishment of objectives for subordinate units.
  • Approving and managing multi-year work plans to align with organizational goals.
  • Overseeing the revision of long-term plans and objectives, ensuring they remain relevant and achievable.
  • Managing policy changes in response to budgetary adjustments or legislative updates.
  • Implementing organizational changes to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Exercising discretion in the allocation of budgetary resources.

Conditions of Employment
This position is subject to a probationary period and requires the completion of a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report. Candidates must also undergo a drug test prior to appointment and random testing thereafter. Employment is contingent upon obtaining a Moderate-Risk Security Clearance.

Qualifications
While federal experience is not mandatory, candidates should possess relevant experience from public or private sectors. Applicants must demonstrate:
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, showcasing managerial skills and technical expertise.
  • Management and leadership experience, applying techniques and principles to achieve program objectives.
  • Experience in overseeing the planning and implementation of technical program aspects.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.

Education Requirements
A degree from an accredited institution is generally required. Candidates may need to provide transcripts or equivalent documentation to verify educational qualifications.

Additional Information
Selected candidates may be required to participate in an interview process. The position may offer flexible work arrangements, including telework eligibility, subject to meeting specific criteria. Relocation expenses will not be covered.
