Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Xsolis, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing strategic guidance to support our continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and preparation of journal entries.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist with the development, implementation of, and monitoring adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting the healthcare sector.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in public accounting role.
  • CPA or CPA eligible and plans to be fully licensed in the next year.
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, including compliance within a software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment.
  • Highly curious and seeks to understand.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based accounting software, with hands-on experience managing financial data and generating reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement new software solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity within the finance function.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
