Position Overview

The ERP Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the Deltek VantagePoint ERP platform. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of business processes through effective system administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Deltek VantagePoint system, ensuring user access, configuration, and security settings are properly managed.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users, resolving issues related to the Deltek VantagePoint system and liaising with Deltek technical support as needed.
  • Data Oversight: Ensure data integrity through regular audits and accurate data migration. Collaborate with Data Analysts to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • System Enhancements: Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, keeping stakeholders informed of improvements.
  • Process Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements within the Deltek VantagePoint system.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for users, along with maintaining comprehensive system documentation and user guides.
  • Customization: Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor the Deltek VantagePoint platform to meet organizational needs.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that the Deltek VantagePoint system adheres to industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Design and manage custom reports and dashboards to facilitate informed business decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing ERP systems, particularly Deltek VantagePoint, is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in ERP system administration, including user management, configurations, and data migration. Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex system issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively train and support end-users.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing system upgrades and enhancements, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deltek VantagePoint certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.
