Role Overview

The Service Manager is a pivotal leadership position within our local branches. This role focuses on guiding and inspiring our Pest Technician Teams to deliver exceptional service in the management of pest control solutions for our esteemed clients.

Daily Responsibilities

Each day, our Pest Technicians engage with residential clients, executing pest control treatments. The Service Manager is tasked with ensuring that the team operates effectively, efficiently, and maintains high customer satisfaction levels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing branch scheduling and ensuring successful completion of pest technician routes
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving service-related issues
  • Evaluating and inspecting the performance of Pest Technicians
  • Managing inventory levels of pest control supplies
  • Facilitating ongoing training for local sales and service teams

Qualifications for Success

  • An associate's degree and a valid driver's license are required; a four-year degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Willingness to relocate is highly regarded
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Effective problem-solving skills with practical solutions
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on safety
  • Basic to intermediate math skills for sales and service calculations
  • Comfort working outdoors and in confined spaces when necessary
