Veterinary Hospital Front Desk Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Receptionist/Front Desk professional to join our team at Southern Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and exceptional customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk and reception area, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for clients and their pets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and pet records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates.
- Manage the financial needs of the hospital, including collection of client transactions and maintenance of accurate balances.
- Advocate for pets through client education on preventative care, pet health needs, and treatment recommendations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
- Experience with veterinary software preferred.
- Flexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shifts.
