Position Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is a vital member of our operations team. This role involves overseeing the management of shipments, receiving inventory, sourcing local parts, and supporting service technicians. The fast-paced work environment recognizes and rewards performance, fostering a sense of accomplishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies.
  • Assist service technicians in locating necessary products.
  • Distribute repair parts and accessories to service technicians.
  • Track and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Drive to local vendors to procure parts as needed.
  • Efficiently unload deliveries and organize stock.
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification available on-site).
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrive in a dynamic environment. If you enjoy a role that involves active engagement rather than being confined to a desk, you will find this position fulfilling.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in using multiple software applications, including Excel and inventory management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for success.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Every fourth Saturday
  • Availability for weekdays and weekends is required.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $19.00

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Clean and insurable driving record.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds, with team lifting as necessary. The employee will work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
