Job Title: Receiving Clerk / Warehouse Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk / Warehouse Administrator to oversee daily goods receiving operations and warehouse inventory management. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments while managing the overall organization, storage, and distribution of products within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Clerk Duties:
    • Inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.
    • Verify and document product quantities, item descriptions, and delivery dates.
    • Coordinate with purchasing and vendors for discrepancies or return processing.
    • Update inventory systems and maintain accurate records of all received goods.
    • Organize and track received items to ensure proper placement in the warehouse.
  • Warehouse Duties:
    • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
    • Coordinate the receiving, storage, and material and equipment loading and unloading coordinated with PM and Field Installers.
    • Ensure warehouse safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
    • Monitor equipment performance and maintenance needs to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in warehouse experience and receiving processes (2+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse software.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft products.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs.) as needed.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily warehouse-based, with some administrative duties in an office setting.
  • Fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
