Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and coordinating compliance activities, both internally and externally, to ensure complete compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide interpretive guidance and training to business units on regulatory requirements and compliance processes.
  • Oversee the development of business unit controls for new regulations or new business initiatives.
  • Support the Manager in internal assessments and self-corrections as specified in the Compliance Plan.
  • Maintain NextEra Energy's Reliability Standards Compliance intranet site as an educational and informational sharing tool.
  • Develop and deliver training modules on compliance topics.
  • Monitor compliance activities at NERC, and Regional entities and inform Manager(s) and Director(s) well as Business Unit Compliance Leads/Subject Matter Experts of new developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 6+ years
