Restaurant Manager Job Description

At TooJay's Deli • Bakery • Restaurant, we're seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a Restaurant Manager, you'll be responsible for training and developing team members, providing leadership, and driving restaurant growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and develop team members to deliver high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Drive restaurant growth through sales and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Manage inventory, labor, and expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and 1-2 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant or related field.
  • Current Manager ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain by end of training period.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Flexible and long hours required at times.
  • Able to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Capable of maneuvering throughout the dining and kitchen area throughout the shift.
  • Able to operate all front and back office computer systems and all office, cleaning, cooking, and food preparation equipment.
  • Able to reach overhead, bend below the waist, crouch, lift, stand, sit, twist, and communicate intentions to co-workers.
