Position Title: Child Protection Investigations Team Supervisor

Agency: Department of Children and Family Services

Job Type: Social Services

Salary Range: $7,966 - $11,759 (Anticipated Starting Salary: $7,966)

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the Supervisor for the Child Protection Investigations Team.

2. Serve as a working supervisor, providing guidance and support to team members.

3. Develop and implement a comprehensive staff development and training program for team members.

4. Foster and maintain effective partnerships with community organizations, including healthcare facilities, law enforcement, educational institutions, and social service agencies, to enhance child welfare services.

5. Clearly communicate and enforce agency policies, procedures, and relevant state and local regulations.

6. Collaborate with permanency staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective client services.

7. Contribute to quality assurance initiatives.

8. Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the responsibilities outlined above.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A master's degree in social work or a related human services discipline from an accredited institution is required.

2. A minimum of three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in child welfare with an MSW, or four years of such experience with a master's degree in a related field.

Special Skills

Of the required experience, at least two years must be in the administration of child protection and investigations.

Conditions of Employment

1. Must successfully pass a background check.

2. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel as required.

Work Hours: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday.
