They support retailers in improving the profitability of their paint sections by advocating for sales and marketing strategies, performing price evaluations, assessing inventory, and revitalizing merchandising approaches.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $87,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with retailers and internal stakeholders to enhance paint department sales through in-store visibility and external sales initiatives.
- Deliver training to retail staff, provide advice on inventory management, and assist with outside sales efforts.
- Coordinate in-store demonstrations, training sessions, and merchandising strategies to stimulate new sales.
- Foster relationships with key retailers by guiding promotional activities and offering training on paint sales and merchandising techniques.
- Drive organic sales growth by increasing the number of participating paint outlets.
- Maintain a targeted list of retailers and coordinate activities with telemarketing support representatives.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in Marketing, Retail, Sales, or Wholesale, preferably in the paint industry.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
Licenses & Certifications: Not applicable
Physical Requirements:
- Capabilities include balancing, climbing, crouching, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, seeing, sitting, standing, typing, and walking.
- The individual must be able to handle and transport paint containers, establish paint departments, and travel long distances.
Work Environment: Primarily an office setting with occasional travel to retail locations, markets, and corporate headquarters.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or higher education.
- 5-7 years of experience in Marketing, Retail, Sales, or Wholesale, ideally in paint sales.
