Position Overview:
The Supervisory Information Technology Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of requirements and contract documentation, as well as coordinating the acquisition, shipment, and accounting of materials necessary for procuring equipment to support the Department of the Army's global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical and business guidance to various military and defense organizations, ensuring alignment with their specific operational needs.
- Act as the technical authority on assigned projects, managing requirements, resources, and implementation status effectively.
- Facilitate the planning, technical management, and integration of C4 signal systems to support mission objectives.

Leadership and Management:
- Supervise military personnel, civilian staff, and contractors, ensuring effective team performance and adherence to project goals.
- Support internal control programs and position management initiatives.

Requirements Management:
- Develop comprehensive requirements for technical solutions and project implementation plans that enhance systems architecture and interoperability.
- Oversee resource management initiatives, including budget execution and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) actions.

Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess extensive knowledge in IT systems planning, technical management, and the integration of C4 signal systems.
- Proven experience in resource programming and justification to execute IT plans effectively.

Additional Information:
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET eligibility with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required, approximately 15-20% of the time.

Working Conditions:
- The incumbent may be required to work overtime and shifts on short notice, including nights and weekends, to support contingency operations.
