Job Description:
As a Technology Subject Matter Specialist, you will play a crucial role in transforming technology into opportunities within the organization. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing the operational capabilities of various agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks and projects pertinent to your area of expertise.
- Provide practical recommendations to mitigate issues.
- Articulate your recommendations to decision-makers in a comprehensible manner.
- Conduct studies and analyses within the technical scope of work.
- Develop requirements from project inception to completion in specific IT domains (ranging from simple to complex systems).
- Assist project members with analysis, evaluation, and preparation of recommendations for system enhancements, optimization, and maintenance across specialties such as:
- Information Systems Architecture

- Risk Management/Electronic Analysis
- Software Development Methodologies
- Modeling and Simulation
- Recognized as an industry leader in a technical field or specialized engineering area, proficient in relevant engineering principles and practices.

- Utilize and develop tools, techniques, and processes, including state-of-the-art simulation environments and laboratories.
- Provide leadership in specialized engineering or technology areas, contributing significantly to technical planning and management.
- Serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, offering direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Education:
High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, high-quality environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize commitments, and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
Clearance Level:
TS/SCI
Required Certification(s):
DoD M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification is required prior to contract support.
IAT II 8570 Baseline Certification CISSP or CASP or equivalent (must be obtained within 180 days).
Additional Information:
Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract. This role may involve physical activities such as lifting IT hardware and other moderately strenuous tasks. Travel may be necessary to support mission objectives.
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $116,979 - $177,632, based on experience and geographic location.
