Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Brand Manager to propel the growth of Teremana Tequila by contributing to the development of brand strategy and executing impactful marketing initiatives across the Americas.
The Brand Manager will play a crucial role in shaping key quarterly initiatives, including creative development, public relations, influencer collaborations, shopper marketing, eCommerce strategies, and new product launches. This position requires a thorough analysis of marketing program effectiveness, strategic evaluation, and the identification of new growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager and VP of Marketing to refine and enhance brand strategy, aligning strategic equity goals with commercial objectives.
- Assist in the formulation of quarterly marketing programs for both above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) initiatives from conception to execution and measurement.
- Work alongside external trade marketing teams to develop point-of-sale and merchandising strategies from design to implementation.
- Contribute to the development of ATL marketing programs in conjunction with the Digital Director and Social Media Manager.
- Engage in public relations efforts, including the creation of an annual press strategy, from agency briefings to execution and performance evaluation, to generate exceptional earned media coverage.
- Support the execution of sports sponsorship initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of trade advocacy programs.
- Oversee the annual marketing budget, ensuring accurate phasing, tracking, and reconciliation of marketing expenditures.
- Analyze market performance utilizing data sources such as IRI, NABCA, and VIP.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive brand management experience within the beverage, alcohol, or consumer packaged goods sectors, with a preference for spirits experience.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to independently develop methodologies and execute analyses, adapt to feedback, and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, third-party agencies, and vendors.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, anticipate opportunities, and devise actionable solutions.
- Willingness to take calculated risks and tackle challenging problems.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal structure.
- Commitment to problem-solving and adaptability to shifting priorities.
- Proficient in computer applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), with strong PowerPoint skills essential for this role. Experience with data sources such as IRI, NABCA, and VIP/iDig is advantageous.
