Job Opportunity

AZTEC Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Archaeological Field Specialist to join our Cultural Resource Group in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct archaeological research and site file searches at federal, state, tribal, and private repositories
  • Assist with all types of archaeological investigations, including survey, monitoring, testing, and data recovery
  • Apply standardized field methods and complete field forms thoroughly and accurately
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a related field
  • Completion of academic-sponsored field school or equivalent experience in Cultural Resource Management
  • Previous experience performing archaeological excavation
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions and carry up to 25 pounds of equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
