Magnolia Bakery is a renowned retail bakery and desserts brand with a strong presence in the market. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Associate.

Job Summary

The Counter Sales Associate will be responsible for upholding the core values of the organization and its mission while consistently presenting and promoting brand integrity, product quality, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by handling counter transactions in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
  • Acknowledge all customers with a friendly smile and respond promptly to their needs and requests.
  • Communicate clearly with each customer in a friendly and courteous way.
  • Participate in team service to ensure each customer is served quickly.
  • Resolve customer problems with a sense of urgency.
  • Accomplish all work assignments with excellence.
  • Wrap and stock desserts and supplies.
  • Place desserts out for display and monitor inventory of items out for sale.
  • Keep workstations and areas neat and clean.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • The position requires standing and walking for a period of 3-5 hours without a rest break.
  • Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending, and reaching overhead may be required.

  • Maintains food safety standards, including identifying and eliminating health code violations and safety hazards.

Hourly Pay Ranges

$16 + tips

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, coworkers, and management.
  • Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
  • Domestic travel required.
