Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aerial Laborer to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As an Aerial Laborer, you will play a critical role in the installation and repair of aerial telecommunications cable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ground support to technicians, including moving bucket trucks as directed.
  • Ensure door-tagging and resident notification of construction activities are completed prior to each workday.
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Drive company vehicles as needed to job sites, if appropriately licensed.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid standard Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience or a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Have 0-1 or more years of unskilled labor experience, with telecommunications experience a plus.
  • Be able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
  • Be a certified pole climber or demonstrate proficiency as a pole climber.
  • Have knowledge of installation of aerial and underground cables and/or support members in conformance with all applicable codes, regulations, and customer specifications.
