Job Summary:The Quality Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with strategic customers to drive quality improvements. This role will represent the Voice of the Customer related to quality issues and ensure that Aspen's Quality Commitment is met with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer, internal, regulatory, and certifying organization requirements.
- Develop and implement quality programs to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
- Lead root cause investigations of nonconformities and develop corrective actions.
- Manage and lead the quality personnel, including mentoring and training.
- Develop and implement quality metrics to track performance and drive improvement.
- Coordinate and lead customer audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
- Manage the Quality department budget and ensure proper budget and CAPEX management.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Leadership experience in establishing and maintaining a QMS, with a proven track record of quality improvement.
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
