Line Maintenance Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Breeze Airways. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our aircraft by conducting daily inspections and monitoring workmanship and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of aircraft to ensure compliance with company maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor workmanship and materials to verify that applicable Breeze and FAA regulations and standards are complied with.
- Develop and implement inspection procedures and protocols to ensure the safe and reliable operation of aircraft.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all aspects of aircraft maintenance are properly addressed.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure that high standards of performance are maintained in the areas of Quality, Safety.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
- Must hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions.
- Five years of Aviation Maintenance experience with at least three years in Quality Control/Assurance/Inspection.
- Understanding and working knowledge of FAR part 43, 65, 91, 121, and 145.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions.
- Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least two (2) years in management or a leadership role.
- Degree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Business.
- Ten years of FAR 121 air carrier aircraft maintenance experience.
- Understanding of Safety Management System (SMS) rules.
