Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grant Writer/Administrator to join our team at the North Slope Borough, AK. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching grant opportunities, writing proposals, and coordinating grant programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the borough's mission and goals
  • Write grant proposals and collect supporting data and documentation
  • Coordinate grant programs with program managers and ensure fiscal compliance with funding agencies
  • Monitor grant financial requirements and apply administrative controls to comply with federal and state audits
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school graduate or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 15 credits towards an Associate's degree or continuing education in a job-related field of study
  • Two years of records management experience
  • Two years of relevant internet research experience
  • Two years of computer experience using common software applications, including Excel and Word
  • Two years of accounting/budget experience
  • Demonstrated writing skills and ability
