We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at R. L. Barclay & Associates, LLC. This role will play a key part in supporting our leadership team with recruiting, training, evaluating, promoting, and retaining employees.


Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management:
Oversee employee recruitment, onboarding, and development, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.

Compensation and Benefits:
Manage annual reviews, compensation structures, and benefits administration, ensuring fairness and equity.

Full-Cycle Recruiting:
Handle screening, hiring, and onboarding of new employees, from initial application to onboarding.

Training and Policies:
Develop training programs and establish policies for new hires, promoting a culture of learning and growth.

Employee Relations:
Foster employee engagement and address relations issues, ensuring a positive work environment.

Compliance:
Ensure adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and best practices, maintaining a compliant HR function.

HR Strategy:
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes, aligning with the firm's goals and objectives.

Performance Management:
Monitor and address performance management issues, ensuring employees are meeting expectations.

Employee Offboarding:
Manage terminations and offboarding procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees.

Summer Associate Program:
Oversee the summer associate program, providing a valuable experience for students and interns.

Timesheet Monitoring:
Track employee hours, PTO, and overtime, ensuring accurate payroll and compliance.

Market Data:
Collect and analyze data on hiring trends and salaries, informing HR decisions and strategies.

Payroll Support:
Assist the accounting department with payroll and financial systems as needed, ensuring seamless integration.

Administrative Supervision:
Provide daily administrative oversight of HR staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service.

Marketing Support:
Contribute to marketing and business development activities, promoting the firm's brand and services.

Requirements:
4 year degree in Human Resources/Management is highly preferred
Current PHR, CLM or SHRM Certification or the desire to complete the certification once hired
5 or more years of management experience in a law firm setting, with 30 or more employees
