Position Overview:

Become a vital member of the HR department at Steinway Inc. This position is essential for delivering comprehensive HR services across multiple sectors, including Corporate, Retail, Wholesale, and Manufacturing. Key duties encompass managing benefit programs, facilitating union recruitment and onboarding, addressing employee relations, and enhancing manufacturing workforce operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and onboard employees for the manufacturing union
  • Address union employee relations and resolve grievances
  • Assist in employee performance evaluations and development strategies
  • Oversee benefit enrollment and management processes
  • Support salary administration and leave management
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and social gatherings
  • Contribute to various HR initiatives as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of HR experience
  • Proficiency in Spanish is essential
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Capacity to manage confidential information responsibly
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to tasks

The compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and opportunities for professional growth.
