Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at McGregor PACE, a community healthcare service program providing services to seniors as an alternative to nursing home placement.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with the elderly and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.

About the Role

This full-time position involves delivering comprehensive health services to program participants, working closely with our primary care physician and other departments to ensure efficient quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary Team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate services with other McGregor PACE departments to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Participate in identifying learning needs of departmental personnel and make recommendations for training.
  • Provide nursing care, including assessing and monitoring health status, functional status response to treatment, medication administration.
  • Identify participant and family education needs and provide appropriate teaching/information.
  • Contribute to departmental and participant outcome data collection and analysis; participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • CPR certification required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience working with the elderly preferred.
  • Experience with dementia care desirable.
  • Previous experience in an interdisciplinary care setting desirable.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, and a rewarding work environment that prioritizes the well-being of our participants and staff.
