Job Overview
Nurse Practitioners play a pivotal role in our team, providing evidence-based medical care to seniors and patients with complex needs. As a key member, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and high-quality services across various settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, addressing chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and other conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as required
- Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to develop and maintain comprehensive care plans
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
- Refer patients to other healthcare practitioners when necessary
Requirements
- Active state Nurse Practitioner license
- Current National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners
- Active state DEA licensure
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- A minimum of five years of nursing experience, with at least two years as a nurse practitioner
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong time management skills with accountability for daily workflow
- Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer-based data management programs, electronic medical record systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid automobile insurance and ability to engage in moderate physical activity
