Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to become an integral part of our executive leadership. The CFO will be pivotal in steering the financial trajectory of our organization, ensuring robust financial health and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Formulate and execute financial strategies that resonate with Astrolab's overarching business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure precise financial reporting while adhering to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Comprehensive Financial Oversight: Supervise all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Risk Management: Evaluate cash flow, pinpointing financial risks and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Investor Relations: Cultivate strong partnerships with investors and financial institutions, spearheading fundraising initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Performance Insights: Conduct in-depth financial analyses to uncover trends and support strategic decision-making.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Oversee M&A activities, including due diligence and integration processes.
  • Cost Efficiency: Implement strategies for cost control and optimize financial performance across the organization.
  • Technological Integration: Utilize financial technologies to enhance processes and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's and/or CPA preferred) with over 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management, strategic planning, and analysis.
  • Proven experience in fundraising and managing investor relations.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • International finance experience is a plus.
