About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to enhance our team. In this position, you will work closely with clients and the application community to ensure robust security protocols for key applications. Your proficiency in Palo Alto security technologies, F5 application delivery, Kubernetes security, and Web Application and API Protection solutions will be crucial in assessing security vulnerabilities and implementing infrastructure safeguards. You will engage in security dialogues with application teams and primary vendors to establish best practices in design, execution, and security principles throughout their development lifecycle. Furthermore, you will perform dynamic and static application performance assessments, develop security requirements, conduct threat modeling, and execute application-level testing utilizing tools such as Burp Suite, Tenable, and Ixia.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls and Panorama
  • Familiarity with Prisma Cloud and container security solutions
  • Experience with Cloud containerization and security measures
  • Ability to collaborate in diverse teams across various settings
  • Understanding of federal compliance standards such as DoD STIG, NIST 800-53, FIPS, and DoD IL5/6
  • Knowledge of TLS protocol, web protocols, Postman, Fiddler, and non-browser command line tools
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure Cloud architectures and Palo Alto Cloud reference architectures
  • Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP Application Security Manager (ASM) and Advanced Web Application Firewall (AWAF)
  • Experience in securing enterprise web applications in alignment with OWASP Top 10, CVSS, CWE, WASC, and SANS-25
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and deploying IaC using VS Code
  • Familiarity with Linux or UNIX environments, troubleshooting website connectivity issues, and DoD networks

Clearance Requirement:

Selected candidates for this position will undergo a security check and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is required.

Compensation Details:

Salaries at Booz Allen are determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and experience. For this position, the estimated compensation range is $60,400.00 to $137,000 annually. This figure represents the typical salary range and is just one component of the comprehensive compensation package we offer to our employees.
