Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
    • One of the following certifications: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD), Elastic Certified Engineer, or Elastic Certified Observability Engineer.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Eight years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
    • Seven years of experience in system engineering/architecture.
    • Seven years of experience working with products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, Hadoop, Acumulo, Big Table, Cassandra, Scality, etc.
    • At least seven years of experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby for software automation.
    • At least four years of experience managing and monitoring large Cloud Systems.
    • Experience in performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complete hardware/software systems.
  • Key Skills and Experience
    • AWS Commercial Cloud experience.
    • Elastic Experience (AWS cloud or other).
    • Puppet/SIMP experience.
