Lead Cybersecurity Process Engineer

Peraton is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Process Engineer to contribute to our Cyber Mission business unit. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential process engineering support to a cybersecurity operations organization. Your primary duties will encompass the analysis and enhancement of organizational processes, performing technical research and analysis, and drafting responses for high-priority data requests from government entities. This will involve creating detailed representations of strategy alignment, resource allocation, discrepancies, gaps, and organizational achievements.
Additionally, you will conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of systems engineering documentation, define and propose process improvements, and oversee the development and implementation of process governance along with necessary systems engineering documentation. You will be responsible for reporting findings and results to leadership.
Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited institution is essential. Alternatively, four years of additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity is required. This experience should include at least five (5) years within the last ten (10) years in facilitation, training, methodology development, process engineering, and change management.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering, operational procedures, and requirements analysis.
- Proven experience in documenting processes and implementing process improvements.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, and documentation management systems.
- This position necessitates a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Experience in gathering functional requirements.
- Background in the Cybersecurity domain is advantageous.
- Ability to effectively communicate with government and contract stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
