Nurse Practitioner

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian seeks a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality advanced nursing care to patients, adhering to professional regulatory standards and the scope of the nurse practitioner license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide multidisciplinary care, including patient evaluations, assessments, education, interventions, and documentation of plans of care.
- Request physician consultations and multidisciplinary consults as needed.
- Recognize and address ethical, legal, and medical dilemmas in nursing practice, conferring with appropriate resources and staff when necessary.
- Work independently or under indirect supervision of a supervising physician, providing care to a variety of age populations.
- May require on-call time and work different hours, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
- Master's in Nursing (MSN) or DNP required.
- Current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in California.
- Furnishing license issued by the State of California and personal DEA number (for all areas other than Breast Center).
- BLS required. National board certification as Nurse Practitioner in area of specialty required (except Outpatient Oncology and Medical Imaging).
