We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality advanced nursing care to patients with psychiatric and mental health needs.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including medication management and therapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
- Order and administer medications, as well as perform other medical procedures as needed.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in California.
- National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of psychiatric and mental health.
- 2 years of recent experience as a PMHNP, preferably in an ambulatory and acute healthcare environment.
- Bilingual or multilingual preferred.
- Experience in Neuroscience or Psychiatric care.
