Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards, as well as State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Manage compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Conduct assessments to identify and address potential drug-related issues.
- Prepare and verify medication formulations, supervising pharmacy staff as necessary.
- Manage the preparation and security of controlled substances.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation for billing processes.
- Recruit, train, and develop a skilled pharmacy team.
- Participate in budget planning and implementation.
- Maintain an on-call schedule for pharmacy staff as required.
Work Schedule:
- Standard Business Hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening shifts.
- On-call availability as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in specialty pharmacy or home infusion is preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a pharmacist, with a focus on sterile compounding.
- Proficiency in CPR Plus is desirable.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
