Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is a premier historical public attraction, welcoming thousands of visitors from around the world each year. As a Guest Experience Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for delivering a seamless and exceptional experience across all touchpoints and stages of their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet guests with a smile, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Create a positive and unique guest experience during ticket and tour sales, ensuring a memorable encounter.
- Offer prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service in person and over the phone, addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on Magnolia's history, events, and tour schedules, providing accurate and current information to guests.
- Present innovative solutions to problems, remaining calm and positive under pressure.
- Reconcile all sales receipts at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Represent a team-player spirit, taking on additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality.
- Effective listening skills, analyzing guest experiences and escalating as needed.
- Understanding of the importance of exceptional guest experiences, creating an immersive and positive atmosphere from the moment guests arrive.
- Excellent attention to detail, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends as needed, with a balance of work and rest time.
