Culinary Director

The Executive Chef will oversee the culinary quality, innovation, and experience at Restaurant Associates. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to motivate, train, develop, and direct a talented team to deliver exceptional service and new projects.
The role will be based in New York, NY, with opportunities to work on various events and catering menus. The successful candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, excellent communication skills, and international hotel/marketing & events experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities- Design, manage, and own the overall culinary experience.
- Set an expectation of hospitality that engages guests.
- Upskill, train, and develop the team to the highest standards.
- Follow menu and production/preparation expectations to prepare well-balanced meals.
- Purchase products and ingredients in line with purchasing standards and sustainability commitments.
- Create event and catering menus with creativity and mindfulness.
- Contribute to the successful opening of new Cafés and meet expected timeframes.
Salary: $100,000-$125,000 per year, depending on experience.
Requirements- A minimum of 5 years of food service management in a professional kitchen.
- A strong passion for food and hospitality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- International hotel/marketing & events experience is a plus.
