WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Actively participate in the RTE Community of Practice to help the organization maintain alignment, adopt new techniques, and enhance technical and quality practices.
  • Assist the Agile Release Train (ART) in continuous improvement by facilitating ART Retrospectives as necessary, enhancing backlog management, ART reviews, sprint reviews, and ART coordination.
  • Collaborate with the RTE community to identify methods for improving cross-train and solution group coordination and collaboration.
  • Facilitate the coordinated preparation and execution of release planning for the ART.
  • Oversee Scrum Masters for the teams within the ART.
  • Coordinate initiatives that span multiple release trains.
  • Coach the Agile Release Train to enhance the implementation of Agile methodologies, practices, and mindset.
  • May lead projects impacting the ART that do not necessitate additional work being added to team backlogs.
  • Support the execution of product vision.
  • Encourage team commitments and ongoing development.
  • Empower teams to take ownership of their products and processes.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience or 8 years of relevant experience.
  • 4 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, or Agile Project/Program Manager.
  • Experience collaborating and influencing stakeholders at the Director level.
  • Comprehension of the distinction between being Agile and merely doing Agile.
  • Familiarity with Lean thinking and its implementation.
  • A servant leader and effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can:
  • Listen and assist teams in identifying problems and making decisions.
  • Foster an environment that values mutual respect, openness, and courage.
  • Persuade through influence rather than authority.
  • Understand and empathize with others.
  • Think beyond daily tasks.
  • Experience in an Agile organization utilizing Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Agile Certification (A-CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or other SAFe certifications preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering high-quality software.
  • Experience applying Lean Thinking and Systems Thinking in large organizations.
  • Experience facilitating Lean Portfolio Management at program, portfolio, or executive levels.
