Role Overview

The Campaign Insights division collaborates with both internal teams and external data partners, utilizing analytics and measurement techniques to enhance media expenditure efficiency. The Vice President, Director will lead the delivery of superior analytic services across a diverse portfolio, contribute to business growth initiatives, and foster the professional development of the team. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of digital and media landscapes, including the integration of online and offline attribution, upper and lower funnel measurement, and the interplay between web design and media effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate client requirements and formulate analytic strategies that extend beyond standard measurement frameworks to include high-value audience targeting, multivariate testing, and optimization techniques.
  • Establish knowledge leadership in a specific service area, becoming the primary expert in areas such as brand tracking, campaign effectiveness, and web analytics.
  • Lead complex analytical projects by developing project timelines, managing team efforts, ensuring timely and budget-compliant deliverables, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality of analytic outputs, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee resource allocation at the client level, adjusting expectations with media teams and clients as necessary.
  • Create detailed content for client agreements outlining analytic workflows and resource requirements.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and external partners, enhancing the reputation as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to existing clients to drive organic growth.
  • Collaborate with the team to assess potential client needs and assist in developing pitch materials.
  • Contribute to the innovation of new analytic service offerings.
  • Manage a team of at least three direct and indirect reports, providing mentorship and ensuring optimal client engagement levels.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with ad-serving platforms like Google Campaign Manager and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
  • Familiarity with audience measurement tools like Comscore and creative evaluation tools such as Kantar Millward Brown.
  • Proven ability to influence marketing strategies through data-driven analytic solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including effective planning, prioritization, and project management.
  • Ability to foster team development and motivate individuals towards higher performance levels.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on building relationships across functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in a professional services or corporate setting, ideally within an agency, with substantial media analytics expertise.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-touch attribution providers and media mix modeling techniques.
  • Aptitude for identifying innovative tools and partners to meet evolving client needs.
  • Capability to provide thought leadership and develop cutting-edge analytic offerings.
