Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

This position is responsible for conducting sonographic procedures on assigned patients through the use of ultrasound diagnostic equipment. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a supervisor/manager and a physician in the department, ensuring that equipment is constantly functional and ready for immediate use. The individual will maintain records and reports on equipment, procedures performed, and billing.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct sonographic procedures on assigned patients using ultrasound diagnostic equipment
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly
• Record and report on equipment, procedures, and billing
• Work effectively as a team player and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
• Possess knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and congenital/acquired pathology as they relate to ultrasound diagnostic procedures
Requirements
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardio Credentialing International (CCI)
• Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups
Working Conditions

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
