Cardiac Sonographer

The Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform echocardiograms using various modalities, including M-mode, 2D, and Doppler techniques
* Identify and record anomalies indicative of disease or injury
* Assist physicians in performing transesophageal echocardiograms
* Collaborate with cardiology fellows to perform and interpret echo exams
Requirements:
* Completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound
* Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience
* Strong knowledge of thoracic anatomy and physiology
