Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at CEC Companies. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment for small to mid-sized ground up projects or tenant finish projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of subordinate supervisors and crews to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and man-loading charts to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Interface with representatives of the General Contractor on day-to-day project scheduling and overall performance issues.
  • Monitor work as performed, direct subordinate supervisors and crews, and schedule work according to the pace of the job and other trades.
  • Ensure compliance with all CEC safety processes and protocols, and investigate or assist in investigation and reporting of any accident or safety incidents involving jobsite employees.
Requirements
  • 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
  • Must possess all skills of lower rated positions including, Foreman, Journeyman, T2, H2.
  • Ability to comprehend reading and drawing prints, specifications, and schematics.
  • Ability to operate wire tuggers and hydraulic benders, dig trenches, and operate all equipment including trenchers, backhoe, and lift trucks in a safe manner.
  • Ability to work in the presence of customers and their representatives with little or no interference or disruption to the customer while maintaining a professional and courteous image.
