CEC Companies is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent 2 to lead our electrical construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop working estimates and take-offs.
- Lay out work for subordinate supervisors and lead persons, ensuring proper material, tool, and equipment availability.
- Establish work schedules and man-loading charts to optimize project efficiency.
- Interface with general contractors to discuss project scheduling and performance issues.
- Provide general supervision to subordinate foremen engaged in electrical feeders, equipment, control and distribution apparatus, lighting fixtures, and related connections and terminations.
- Monitor work performance, direct subordinate supervisors and crews, and schedule work according to project pace and other trades.
- Handle or oversee office correspondence and administrative paperwork, including official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, safety reports, etc.
- Ensure overall project safety performance, assuring employees are properly trained or instructed in performance of duties, and compliance with CEC safety processes and protocols.
- Must possess all skills of lower-rated positions, including Foreman, Journeyman, T2, H2.
- 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience.

- Move about on the feet regularly. Sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.

- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
- Talk and hear, ability to communicate with others both written and orally and by telephone.
- Possess good vision, normal or corrected. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision to discern color-coded wires, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Possesses good hearing, normal or corrected.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest), as needed.
- Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts, as needed. Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.
- Must be able to work in the presence of customers and their representatives with little or no interference or disruption to the customer while maintaining a professional and courteous image.
