Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

Job Summary:
Hire Talent is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the purchasing of materials, equipment, supplies, and services necessary to achieve our company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and timely support for the purchasing process, ensuring seamless communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve procurement-related issues.
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Basic office skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Recent graduate from a 2 or 4-year program, with a degree in a relevant field such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience and ability to speak to T codes.
  • Interpersonal relations and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of automated office and information technology-based equipment.
