Roles and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will assist in the procurement of essential materials, equipment, supplies, and services aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. The ongoing and occasional tasks performed are closely related to the specific functions of the department, requiring familiarity with administrative standards and practices relevant to these functions.

The responsibilities include handling intricate documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations, as well as completing specialized templates and forms. While the primary content will be provided by senior staff, the individual will be expected to draft straightforward correspondence and incorporate standardized elements into designated formats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile weekly Requests for Quotations (RFQs)
  • Present finalized RFQ packages to the Buyer/Planner
  • Follow up on Purchase Orders, including reporting, filing, and cadence calls
  • Manage Defense Priorities & Allocations System (DPAS) acknowledgments and update ratings for Purchase Order lines while notifying suppliers
  • Assist in resolving Accounts Payable payment discrepancies
  • Address receiving issues, incorrect addresses, and pricing concerns
  • Organize and maintain Outlook folders
  • Ensure compliance with Trade Secret regulations
  • Provide inspection support
  • Facilitate onboarding for new supplier requests and maintain existing supplier accounts

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant and progressively responsible full-time work experience
  • An Associate Degree in a directly relevant field
  • Fundamental office skills
  • Experience with SAP and familiarity with transaction codes
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using a variety of automated office and information technology equipment

As technology and office equipment evolve, the candidate is expected to maintain proficiency with advancements relevant to this role.
