POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Sales Consultant plays a vital role in enhancing the customer journey by fostering a shopping environment that encourages self-expression and individuality.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance:
  • Achieves sales targets by applying effective sales strategies and sharing product insights with customers; assists in selecting merchandise that aligns with customer preferences.
  • Stays informed about ongoing promotions and maintains visual merchandising standards.
  • Upholds merchandise handling and presentation standards, while adhering to loss prevention protocols.
  • Engages in visual merchandising tasks, including store layouts and maintenance.

Customer Service Excellence:
  • Exemplifies and promotes the principles of exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience across all channels.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and resolves issues promptly.
  • Facilitates a smooth checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, returns, and exchanges.
  • Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
  • Enrolls customers in loyalty programs.
  • Cultivates a loyal customer base through personalized service and styling advice.
  • Maintains awareness of current product offerings and fit options available.
  • Engages with clients consistently through effective communication strategies.

Operational Support:
  • Assists in inventory replenishment to ensure product availability.
  • Aids in fulfilling customer orders.
  • Contributes to visual merchandising efforts, including displays and signage as directed.
  • Helps maintain store cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration:
  • Fosters a collaborative environment to tackle challenges collectively.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to technology utilized by the company.
  • Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to meet business needs; flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular climbing as part of store operations.
